The Macallan – Harmony Collection JING (70cl, 43.9%)

The Macallan Harmony Collection JING is a single malt bottled at 43.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea, a complex tea with a dessert wine aroma and exotic fruit notes. The whisky matured in sherry casks of both American and European oak. The American oak adds fruity and floral notes, while the European oak brings toasted notes and tartness. A small amount of ex-bourbon casks adds a final sweetness that echoes the dessert wine character of the tea. The nose shows pear, apricot, honey, tropical fruit, toffee and sweet oak spice. The palate offers pear, syrup, citrus, toffee and flowers, with a hint of tartness.
