A Macallan single malt released for the 60th anniversary of James Bond, bottled at 43.7% in a 70cl bottle and supplied in a presentation tube. Decade VI is part of a collection marking six decades of the spy.
This edition pays tribute to Daniel Craig's time as 007.
The nose is fresh, with lemon, lime and a little sherbet, then sweet vanilla and coconut, with hints of dried fig and raisin. On the palate come orange zest, fizzy sherbet, gentle oak and subtle ginger spice, developing into dark chocolate, figs and baked apple tart with honey. The finish is sweet and long.
