The Macallan – Quest (1L, 40%)

Macallan Quest is a single malt from The Macallan, in a 1 litre bottle at 40% vol. It comes from a limited series that puts the influence of wood on flavour in the foreground. The whisky matures in four different casks: American and European oak that previously held bourbon or sherry. The nose is citrus, apple, lemon, vanilla and oak. On the palate there is apple, ginger, nutmeg, fruit and cinnamon, followed by a long, sweet finish.
