The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Year Old is a single malt matured for at least twelve years at The Macallan Estate in Speyside, Scotland. It is aged predominantly in sherry-seasoned European oak casks and has a natural colour. This bottle is 75cl.
The nose brings dried fruit, candied citrus peel and oak, with ginger and nutmeg. On the palate there are raisins and sultanas, ginger syrup, cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long, with oak and warming ginger.
