The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Year Old is a single malt from Speyside, in the 2024 edition and a 75cl bottle. It was matured in hand-picked oak casks seasoned with sherry from Jerez, and its dark mahogany colour is natural.
On the nose there are honeyed figs and dates, with hints of caramelised pineapple and chocolate orange. The palate brings rich fruit cake and prunes, stem ginger, cinnamon and orange, leading to gentle toasted oak. The finish is long and rich, with oak, spice and orange.
