The 2024 release of The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Years Old, a single malt matured for three decades in hand-picked sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The colour is a natural dark mahogany, the deepest in the Sherry Oak range.
Tasting notes describe a nose of honeyed figs and dates, with hints of caramelised pineapple and chocolate orange. The palate brings rich fruit cake and prunes, stem ginger, cinnamon and orange essence, leading to gentle toasted oak. The finish is long and rich.
