The Macallan – Sir Peter Blake (70cl, 47.7%)

A single malt Scotch whisky from The Macallan, bottled at 47.7% in a 70cl bottle. It marks 35 years of collaboration with Sir Peter Blake, the pop artist who designed albums for The Beatles and has worked with the distillery since 1986. The whisky was created in his honour by Sarah Burgess, The Macallan's Lead Whisky Maker, who took inspiration from his personality. It is a very limited release. The nose brings dried fruit, spices, orange and cloves. On the palate there are black pepper, vanilla and orange oil, leading to a long, rich finish of oak, cinnamon and cocoa.
