The Macallan – The Archival Series Folio 8 (70cl)

The Macallan Archival Series Folio 8 is the eighth release in the Archival Series, a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It commemorates The Macallan's 1980s advert 'The Colossus of Nose', which playfully alludes to the aroma of the whisky. The nose is described as ripe dried fruits, berry compote with toffee, lemon peel, cinnamon and a hint of anise. On the palate come ginger, a burst of citrus and sweet oak, and the finish is long and rich with sweet oak spices.
