This is a single malt from The Macallan in Craigellachie, Speyside, part of The Harmony Collection, an annual limited-release series. The 2024 release was created in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil.
This expression centres on tropical oak influences, drawn from first-fill American oak sherry-seasoned casks and ex-bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 44.2% and has a warm honey-gold colour.
The nose offers toasted coconut, vanilla custard and toasted oak, with banana, green apple and citrus peel. The palate is silky, with desiccated coconut, toasted almond, butterscotch and a little cinnamon. The finish is long and sweet, with coconut and oak.
