Smooth Arabica is a limited edition Speyside single malt from The Macallan, part of its Harmony Collection, a series inspired by the natural world. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is made from sherry-seasoned oak casks, and the cask influence is used to echo the roasted depth of Arabica coffee beans. The packaging is made from discarded coffee bean husks.
The nose combines freshly baked brioche, roasted coffee beans and vanilla cream. The palate is silky and rounded, with mocha, cinnamon and toasted oak. The finish fades gently through cocoa dust and light fruit sweetness.
