The Muff is an Irish whiskey from Donegal, produced by The Muff Liquor Company and bottled at 43% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
It is a blend of five components: triple-distilled grain whiskey aged in virgin oak, grain whiskey from ex-bourbon casks, sherry-matured malt, a fruity malt, and a portion of peated malt that adds light smoke.
The nose combines orange peel, ripe stone fruit, toffee and light peat smoke. The palate is smooth and layered, with caramel, green apple, baking spice and a subtle smoky depth. The finish is soft and warming, with vanilla, coconut and lingering sweetness.
