The Peat Chronicles is a peated blended malt that brings together whiskies from Ardbeg and Laphroaig. Wu Dram Clan selected it on site for Murray McDavid, which released it in the Mission Gold series.
It is 27 years old, distilled in 1997 and bottled on 30 April 2025 at a cask strength of 55.6% ABV. The final six years were spent in a Premier Cru Bordeaux barrique, and the blend includes spirit distilled in the first year after Ardbeg distillery reopened.
There are 229 bottles, each 70cl, with no chill-filtering or added colour.
