The Quiet Man 12 Year Old is an Irish single malt from Derry, in a 70cl bottle and presented in a tube. It was matured for 12 years in oak casks that previously held bourbon.
The nose combines vanilla and honey with green apple, pear and a little white pepper. The palate is creamy and rich, with caramel and nutmeg, starting sweet before turning drier and lightly spiced. The finish is slightly woody.
