The Sexton Single Malt (1L)

The Sexton Single Malt is an Irish single malt made entirely from Irish malted barley and triple distilled in copper stills. Master blender Alex Thomas created it for Proximo Spirits' Sexton brand. It is matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, which give a rich, fruity character. The black hexagonal bottle carries a label of a skeleton in a top hat and a carriage pulled by a skeleton horse. The nose is sweet, with dark chocolate, marzipan, dried fruit and a hint of green apple. The palate is fruitier, with lemon, green apple and apricot, and light honey and cinnamon. The finish is soft, with honey, dark chocolate and toasted oak.
