Imperial is a distillery that has been lost, and this release comes from an outturn of 162 bottles. The nose offers vanilla cream and hazelnut pralines, with basil and mint behind. On the palate come fruity notes of honeydew melon and raspberry. The finish turns more herbal, with a good splash of peach juice.
