The Singleton 19 Year Old Legends Untold is a 2021 Special Release single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 54.6% abv.
The nose is mild, with dried figs and apricots, crystallised angelica and orange peel above a light fruitcake and vanilla-scented marzipan. The texture is soft and mouth-filling, oaky-dry at first, then ripe green apple, grape spirit and sweet coconut come through.
A little water brings out buttery notes and more spice.
