The Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old Luscious Nectar is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It has no added colouring and is not chill-filtered.
Maturation began in American bourbon casks and was completed in sherry casks made from European oak. Dufftown itself only gained a distillery bearing its name in 1896, when five others were already working there.
The nose is of roasted hazelnuts with ripe fruit, which adds freshness.
