The Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled at 40% vol in a 70cl bottle. Dufftown styles itself the whisky capital of the world and is home to Glenfiddich among other distilleries.
The colour is orange gold. The nose is orange peel and milk chocolate. The palate is smooth and creamy with vanilla, slightly thin at first before it rounds out, with almonds, orange zest and a touch of earthiness. The finish carries the faintest hint of smoke.
