This is a 17 year old single malt from The Singleton of Dufftown, distilled in 2002 and released in 2020 as part of Diageo's Special Releases. That year's series followed the theme 'Rare by Nature'. The whisky matured entirely in refill hogsheads of American oak, a choice intended to show the fresh, spring-like character of the malt. The Singleton name is meant to underline what is individual about Dufftown malts.
