The Singleton of Glendullan 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distilled at Glendullan Distillery in Dufftown, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
It is matured for twelve years in a high proportion of American oak ex-bourbon casks, with a small portion of European oak ex-sherry casks. Glendullan was founded in 1897 and is one of Diageo's three Singleton distilleries.
The nose is fresh, light and clean, with fruit, scented leather, subtle sandalwood and vanilla. The body is light to medium, turning spicy at first and then soft and sweet, with citrus, raisins, vanilla and a hint of honey. The finish is short, creamy and smooth.
