It was matured in a sherry hogshead and bottled at a cask strength of 56.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, with 97 bottles filled. The nose shows jammy Bakewell tart and dried fruits, with floral, nutty and gentle herbal notes and a sweetness of Dolly Mixture from the oak. On the palate, jammy notes meet ripe stone fruits, florals, nutty spice, a touch of cedar and more Dolly Mixture. The finish is medium to long, with a little more spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
