This is an 18 year old Irish single malt bottled by The Temple Bar Pub in Dublin, at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It spent 15 years in a bourbon cask before a final three years in an Argentinian Malbec cask from Bodega Bianchi. The bottling reflects Roberto Appendino, a Temple Bar employee from Argentina, who combined his interest in Irish whiskey and Argentinian wine. The nose offers ripe fruit with an exotic note. The palate is full bodied, with spice, caramel and sweet vanilla, alongside citrus notes of lemon and orange peel. The finish is very long.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
