The Tyrconnell 10 Year Old Port Cask Finish is an Irish single malt that spent ten years in bourbon barrels before a further six to eight months in port casks from Portugal's Douro Valley. It is bottled at 92 proof (46% abv).
The port finish brings a nose of baked apples and roots. A warm sweetness recedes, leaving a finish with a range of spices.
