This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Glentauchers, bottled by The Whisky Cellar, founded by Keith Bonnington, as part of its Private Cellars Selection.
It was distilled in June 2011, matured in a first fill bourbon hogshead and bottled in June 2023 at a cask strength of 56.4%. The whisky has natural colour and is non-chill-filtered. 230 bottles of 70cl were filled.
The tasting notes list barley sugar, creamy malt, fresh lemon zest, spicy oak, ripe pear and salted butter on brioche.
