A 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Strathmill, bottled by The Whisky Cellar in its Private Cellars Selection. It was distilled in February 2009, finished in oloroso sherry and bottled in June 2024 at a cask strength of 56.9%. The outturn was 283 bottles, and it is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The colour is deep, bright gold. The nose has soft stone fruits, fresh cut grass, spiced nut mix and toffee. The palate brings cake spices, dried apricots, ripe yellow apples, citrus peel and hints of toasted oak. The finish is of medium length, with plenty of sweet fruit and herbal notes.
