A 12 year old Highland single malt from Teaninich, released by The Whisky Cellar in its Private Cellars Selection. It was distilled in November 2007, matured in a single ex-bourbon hogshead and bottled in August 2020.
It comes at a cask strength of 58.2% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration, and only 270 bottles were filled.
The nose is light vanilla with a hint of mocha coffee. On the palate there are lemon meringue pie, toasted coffee bean, shortbread and exotic floral notes. The finish is long and gentle, with lemon zest, white chocolate and delicate florals.
