The Whistler is an Irish blended whiskey from Boann, a family-owned distillery in Drogheda, in the Boyne Valley. It is triple distilled and bottled at 43% ABV, without chill-filtration and without caramel colouring.
The whiskey was matured first in American bourbon barrels and then in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings citrus, walnuts, nougat and tropical fruit. The palate is very soft and well balanced, with orange, nuts and nougat, and a little coconut, banana and pear.
