An Irish single malt from Boann's Whistler range, bottled at 46%, that shows the influence of Pedro Ximénez sherry. The whisky was first matured in American Bourbon casks, then finished for at least 12 months in PX sherry casks.
The nose brings sherry, dried fruits, raisins, cherry, sultanas, candied orange and brown sugar. On the palate the cask shows with some vanilla, alongside dried fruit and brown sugar, with walnuts, citrus and a hint of leather. The finish is long and pleasant, with walnuts and dark chocolate.
