The Blue Note is a seven-year-old single malt Irish whiskey from The Whistler, released at the end of 2016 by Boann Distillery in Drogheda, just north of Dublin. The malt was sourced.
It spent five years in first-fill bourbon barrels, followed by two years in oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46% abv in a 70cl bottle.
