A 12-year-old Japanese single malt from the Yamazaki distillery, produced by Suntory. It matured for 12 years in three kinds of cask: ex-bourbon American oak, ex-sherry Spanish oak and Japanese oak. The nose offers yellow peach, persimmon and orange marmalade, with butter, pastry cream and caramel. The palate is structured, sweet and soft, with citrus, red fruit and cinnamon. The finish is long and spicy.
