Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is a single malt made from malted barley at the Yamazaki distillery, which is owned by Suntory and stands where three rivers meet, between Mount Tennozan and Mount Otokoyama.
After distilling, the whisky rests in casks that previously held bourbon and sherry before it is bottled.
The nose is spicy and woody, with dried fruit and a distinct floral note. The palate is full-bodied and vibrant, at times slightly sweet, with raspberry, white peach and vanilla.
