This 2024 Islay Peated Malt is a limited-edition single malt from the House of Suntory's Yamazaki distillery, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines Yamazaki's Japanese single malt character with peated malt from Scotland.
The whisky is matured in American and French oak. The peat is kept in balance, with the fruit and oak remaining part of the whisky from aroma through to the finish.
Soft fruit sweetness meets a measured thread of smoke, and orange and cinnamon notes carry through the palate.
