This is the 2024 Edition of The Yamazaki Mizunara Aged 18 Years, a single malt from the Yamazaki Distillery. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 700ml bottle and comes with its matching 2024 Edition case.
It combines 18 years of maturation with the influence of Japanese Mizunara oak casks.
Sandalwood, coconut and spice open the nose. The palate is rich and velvety, with ripe pear and honeyed vanilla, then a touch of dark chocolate. The finish brings lingering oak spice.
