Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye Whiskey 2023 (62.5%)

This is the 2023 release of Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, bottled at 124.9 proof. It is a straight rye bottled at barrel strength, uncut and unfiltered, from barrels that matured for over six years. The nose is orange zest and lemon oil, with caramel and a little pine. On the palate there is freshly baked rye bread spread with orange marmalade and honey. The finish is light oak with black liquorice.
