This is Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey, part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. It was made at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky, matured in new charred American oak barrels and bottled uncut and unfiltered at barrel proof, 64.9%, in a 70cl bottle.
The name honours Thomas H. Handy, the New Orleans bartender who helped popularise the Sazerac cocktail.
The flavour is described as rich, with rye spice, caramel, dark fruits, cinnamon, vanilla and toasted oak.
