Thomond Gate – Single Pot Still Imperial Stout Finish 2022 Cask PL-002 is a single pot still whiskey from Thomond Gate. Bottled at 58.94% ABV, 70cl. As part of the Departed Spirits of Limerick series. This pays homage to a prolific military general known as Peter Lacy. He left Ireland and, in his later campaigns, joined Tsar Peter of Russia. This whiskey was sourced from a traditional pot still whiskey and finished in an imperial stout cask from Treaty City Brewery. This style of beer, also known as Russian Imperial Stout, was exported in great volumes during the 18th Century to Russia. Includes certificate and pendant Cask No. PL-002.
