This is an 8 year old blended malt from Thompson Bros., bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was made from a single malt with a small addition of a second whisky, the 'teaspooned' of the name.
The whisky was distilled in 2016, matured in a hogshead and bottled in 2024. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers ripe fruit, honey and malt sugar, with spicy oak and a hint of citrus. On the palate it is creamy and sweet, with vanilla, toffee and fine spice, followed by a long, warming and balanced finish.
