A Brazilian cachaça from the historic distillery at Sao Joao da Barra in Rio de Janeiro state.
It is made by hand-harvesting sugar cane, extracting fresh juice, fermenting it and distilling carefully to preserve natural aromas. The result is a clear spirit with a soft, enveloping texture.
On the palate it shows fresh, vegetal notes with a light sweetness recalling fresh sugar cane, and a surprisingly long, harmonious finish.
