This is a single barrel bourbon from Three Chord, bottled at cask strength of 59.37% abv. It comes in a 750ml bottle.
The barrel was distilled in 2017 and rested for five years in American oak hand-selected by Three Chord's Master Blender and Distiller, Ari Sussman. Three Chord is usually a blender of casks from distillers around the United States, but this barrel was bottled on its own. Exactly 108 bottles were filled by hand.
It is a deep mahogany colour. The nose offers chocolate, buttered baked bread, caramel, vanilla and orange zest, and the palate vanilla cream, toasted oak, orange blossom honey and soft rye spice. The finish brings chocolate, caramelised wood sugars and sweet tobacco.
