This is an organic Danish single malt from Thy, released in October 2026 at 51.7% in a 70cl bottle. Only 2,165 bottles were filled, for Denmark and export. It is made from pale malt of Odyssey barley, smoked over Danish beech wood. The whisky matured for five to six years, first in PX sherry casks and then in bourbon casks, and was bottled in September 2026. The notes include dried fruit, cocoa, vanilla, pastry, oak and a light beech smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
