Timorous Beastie 10 Years (70cl)

Timorous Beastie 10 Years is a blended malt made only from Highland single malts, each aged for at least 10 years before vatting. It is a limited edition, bottled without chill-filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The name is a tribute to Robert Burns and his poem 'To a Mouse', which is addressed to a small field mouse but reflects on humanity's relationship with the natural world. The nose is sweet, with brown sugar, maple syrup, malted barley and toast. The palate moves from cereal to honey, toast and butter, with a light touch of mineral peat. The finish is of medium length, spicy and peppery, with cinnamon, honey, yellow fruit and vanilla.
