Timorous Beastie 18 Year Old is a Highland blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing's Signature Series, in a 70cl bottle at 44.8% ABV. It is matured entirely in Spanish sherry oak, and 650 bottles were released.
The name comes from the timid field mouse in Robert Burns' poem "To a Mouse", though this whisky is not meant for the fainthearted. It belongs to the Remarkable Regional Malts range.
The flavours are described as vanilla, malted barley, meringue, honey and citrus.
