Timorous Beastie 18 Years is a limited edition blended malt made only from Highland single malts, each aged for at least 18 years. It is bottled at 46.8% ABV without filtration, in an outturn of 7,258 bottles.
The nose is sweet and rich, with honey, vanilla and apricot over malted barley. The palate has good body, with vanilla, honey and citrus peel alongside ginger and pepper. The finish is of good length, with ginger, citrus peel and honey, and a slight mineral peat note at the close.
