Timorous Beastie Phantom Smoke is a Highland blended malt Scotch whisky from Douglas Laing, bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition of 3,000 bottles, finished entirely in heavily charred 'Crocodile' casks, with no colouring and no chill-filtration.
The name comes from the field mouse in Robert Burns' poem 'To a Mouse'. The whisky belongs to the Remarkable Regional Malts range.
It is described as a medley of vanilla, malted barley, meringue, honey and citrus.
