TINCUP American Whiskey (75cl)

TINCUP American Whiskey is the flagship expression from TINCUP Whiskey in Colorado. It is a blend of corn, rye and malt, cut with Rocky Mountain water and aged in American white oak barrels, in a 75cl bottle. The brand takes its name from an old mining town on the western side of the Rockies, and the tin cup cap nods to the cups early Colorado miners drank from. It was created by distiller Jess Graber, who has been distilling since 1972. The nose is bold and spicy, with corn sweetness, rye pepper and fresh grain. On the palate, pepper-led rye is balanced by corn sweetness and vanilla, and the finish is warm and medium in length, with lingering pepper and sweetness.
