Tincup American Whiskey is a high-rye blend of Indiana bourbon and a small amount of Colorado single malt, bottled at 42% ABV in a 750ml bottle with a tin cap. The bourbon was distilled at MGP in Lawrenceburg from 64% corn, 32% rye and 4% malted barley, and aged for four to five years in charred American oak. Stranahan's single malt is added, and the whiskey is proofed with Rocky Mountain water. Tincup was created by Jess Graber, who also founded Stranahan's. The nose is caramel, cinnamon, rye spice and green apple. The palate is soft and malty, with vanilla, maple and citrus zest, and the finish is clean, with oak and baking spice.
