Tincup Rye is an American rye whiskey named after Tin Cup, Colorado, an old mining town on the western side of the Rockies.
It follows the rye recipes of the 1850s that settlers and miners in Gunnison County drank. The whiskey was distilled and aged for three years in Indiana, then cut to proof with Rocky Mountain water. It is described as bold and smooth, with a bold spice.
