Tincup is an American whiskey blended from two whiskeys, each aged in #3 charred oak barrels. The larger part is a high-rye bourbon distilled and aged in Indiana, and a small amount of Colorado single malt is blended in.
The whiskey is then cut with Rocky Mountain water. The name honours the Colorado mining pioneers and the tin cups they drank their whiskey from.
