Tobermory 12 Year Old is a single malt from the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3%. It is matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks.
It was launched in 2019 as the centrepiece of the distillery's new core range, after a two-year pause for refurbishment. The character is fruity and spicy, with a slight salty edge.
Expect honeyed aromas of vanilla, ripe oranges and delicate flowers. On the palate come fresh citrus, apples and tropical fruit, then creamy toffee, floral honey and a salty undercurrent.
