Tobermory 12 Year Old is an unpeated single malt from the distillery in the town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3% in a 75cl bottle. It is aged in American oak casks and is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The distillery was founded in 1798, and this 12-year-old launched in 2019 as the standard bottling, replacing the 10-year-old.
Tasting notes describe orange and citrus on the nose with rich fruit, florals, vanilla and spice. The palate is sweet orange, creamy caramel and vanilla with cinnamon and clove, and the finish is long, with lingering vanilla and spice.
